Fire in the open – Little Downham - East Cambs

At 5.53am on Friday (7) crews from Littleport and Chatteris were called to a fire on Main Drove in Little Downham.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a field involving standing crops. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and beaters and returned to their stations by 8.55am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
